Meet Our Instructors – The Architects Learning Academy
The Architects Learning Academy is proud to welcome two accomplished golf professionals: David Scott and Ron Young.

David Scott, Associate Assistant Teaching Professional, brings a unique background in sports science and rehabilitation. A former pediatric physiologist with a Master’s in Exercise Physiology, David earned NJ Top Doctor recognition in 2017, 2018, and 2019. Originally from Scotland, he developed his game on the historic Montrose 1562 course—the 5th oldest in the world. David blends technical golf knowledge with biomechanical expertise to help players quickly identify and correct swing issues.

Ron Young, Teaching Professional, is a seasoned PGA member with a rich teaching background. Originally from Stoneham, Massachusetts, he has served as head pro at private and semi-private clubs in New England and later as a teaching pro at premier golf facilities across Florida, Alabama, and New Jersey. While at the world-renowned Doral Resort in Miami, Ron taught players of all levels under the guidance of Jimmy Ballard. His approach focuses on diagnosing swing problems, simplifying the solution, and building consistency.

Together, David and Ron offer a welcoming, knowledgeable, and results-driven environment for golfers of all ages and skill levels at The Architects Learning Academy.
